- TOUGHER THAN CARBON FIBER - The tough aluminum can withstand pressure and impact better than carbon fibers and is crucial if hiking on rocky terrain or supporting heavier weight.
- LIGHT AIRCRAFT GRADE ALUMINUM - The luminum 7075 hiking sticks weigh up to 4-ounces, making it the perfect gift for an outdoor enthusiast!
- EASIER TO ADJUST THAN TWIST LOCK - Changing the height of these telescoping poles from 24.5 to 54-inches is a breeze even when you are wearing gloves or trekking in wet conditions thanks to its lever-locks.
- BUILT FOR YOUR COMFORT - The cork handles are comfortable to use in both hot and cold temperatures, are moisture-wicking, and mold to the shape of your hand while the strap is padded to avoid chafing of your skin.
This US company was really fantastic, with very clear/comprehensive directions on how to adjust the poles to your height and use of them. They also had several attachments included for the bottom, and it happened I was missing one of the "mud" ones. I followed instructions to email this with any issues/questions, and they responded FAST! Sent me replacements right away (in slow mail, as I told them to save shipping money as wouldn't need it anytime soon). And then they followed up to make sure I got them and were happy. That is just the customer service part. The poles themselves are also GREAT! Very adjustable and easy to do, including for the hand straps at top. Collapse nicely should I ever need to fit into smaller suitcase. Seem quite sturdy and I love the cork grips. I took to Physical Therapy session (for 2 new knees) and she liked them so much that she ordered some for herself. Highly recommend.
These poles worked great for us. Effortless to adjust, several times our 3 yr old wanted to use a hiking pole and so it was nice to be able to easily shorten one for him to use and then lengthen it again when he was done with it. Love the added stability the poles gave us carrying the kids on our backs up fairly steep and rocky terrain in places, it allowed us to go further on our hikes than we could have without them. Reached out to the company with a question I had and they responded promptly and were very helpful! Highly recommend these poles and buying from this company!!!
Quality as good as $150 pair of leki poles. Love them. Solid, durable and good looking. The cork handles are better than foam when sweating if you do not wear gloves. There is nothing negative I can find other than a aluminum over carbon or graphite but for price, these are a steal.Update - I have hiked many miles in the past year and a half with these and have loaned these to two family members for their church hikes. They have close to 200 miles on them. A little scuffed but no breaks or damage. I am so impressed with these! Best decision I made was trying these! Love them!
Chemo damaged my hip and knee joints requiring joint replacement surgeries -- which turned out well--but I needed trekking poles in order to feel steady initially as I recovered and to keep up with my family while hiking on vacations. These poles were just the ticket--Trailbuddygear.com provided great directions to "set" these strong, light-weight poles. These poles and I have trekked up and down the Almafi Coast in Southern Italy and on mountains in the states of Washington, Arizona and Hawaii!!! I love them and recommend them highly!
Sturdy. comes with a fantastic amount of base options for different terrain. Comfortable grip. I had problems with one of the poles and the company was so great about reaching out to me to see if it was the pole that had issues or i needed more help with the instructions. They really worked with me and sent me written and the video with the adjustment instructions. They also sent a replacement pole just to make sure i was getting the best product. Not every outdoor gear company will do this, so ill def be going to them for my other gear.
